Steve don't underestimate Martin; his car may not be finished but I can vouch that he's actually getting the rear end so he can use all his horses. Alot of his parts are sitting in the trunk of his car right now, pistons, rods, etc.

Thats fine, still need the driver mod and most lack that ability. I dont know him, the combo, or the car but I'm always game to race. Run what you brung and hope you brought enough, thats the way it is.

okay, for all the doubters! if u dont believe me, then y dont u ask dan what he is doing to my car. yeah, dan from performance solutions! the silver cobra guy! i respect the fact that my post count is low, therefore so is my credibility, but i dont think many will doubt dans credibility, and what he can do to cobras! in short, its a heads, cams, 5.1L stroker with a 3.4L whipple..... yeah, a 6 speed, still a manual transmission. probably one of the higher hp "stick" cars out there.... maybe will the highest hp "stick" cobra in the city, idk, possibly?

first of all, u seem a little two faced! earlier in the thread, u said with the right driver, even with a massive amount of power, u can still launch decent on the street, and now ur saying that 6 speed dig racing = u shit out of luck? which is it?

now as for not knowing dan, that just shows how much u know about drag racing in az. dan is the owner of the silver cobra that went mid 9's on a stock engine with just a lil 2.2 kenne bell, no nitrous. he works at psr (performance solutions), home to some of AZ's fastest cobras. the shop is located on 26th ave just south of mcdowell.

and no grasshopper, i never said power equals going fast! but power is the major component of going fast! sure it takes a couple of other things, but i never mentioned that power = fast, so y r u trying to "correct" me? i guess u just made urself look like a jerk in the process....

First off let me correct you!

Not two faced, I just know how to drive and tend to do almost all of my racing on the street when street racing existed, and You are shit out of luck as you will have a new combo if I'm not mistaken, correct? If thats the case you will need seat time.

How many 03-04 cobra's have you owned? I have had 2 silver, 1 DSG (jason owns it now, it's the big single 5.4 swap car at dans) and 2 sonic blue cars and all but one ran mid to bottom tens with the stock heaton.

So have you figured out you are the one that looks like a Jerk in the process of this conversation as everyone on here knows myself and Dan are a little more than acquaintances and have know each other for some time, not to mention worked with each other for a short while as well, I frequent PSR here and there so no pictures will be needed.

I used to run on of my old 03 cobra's (which Tony now owns) on a 315 drag radial on the street 99% of the time, would do a massive burn out, run the tires at 8-10lbs depending on the street I was racing on, lay VHT down as it was with me 99% of the time and leave at 5krpm with 16#'s on 150-200 worth of spray after clicking 2nd gear, car would roll the tires over a few times and black track through the rest of the pass.

I'm not a jerk, I just tell you how it is and obviously you dont like it. Dont count your chickens before they hatch or get paid for, learn to be humble and keep your mouth shut and not brag about shit as most of the time when you commit acts like this shit tends to go south and make the person look like a jackass.
