drew a buck fifty should do the job. he will get a huge torque jump on that talon; talon didn't pull till it switched gears by that time the vette should be so far ahead that the import can't keep up. but that car is fast. whats the set up?

Oh and mods are intake and mufflers.

I'm thinking of suggesting LTs and 150 shot, then a cam but I'm wondering what order to go with. Anyone think a cam and LTs would dispatch the Talon without the spray?

i think with a cam it might be a good match, maybe a drivers race, but the juice should seal the deal

LT's, cam and tune should be a driver's race.

Although we don't know if the talon is showing all his cards, boost is deceptive an EBC can change the outcome real fast even with spray and boltons.

a 150 shot is what im running but im not a zo6, but it should be mor than enough for a run like that...

LT's, cam and tune should make it a close race . with the 150 shot you will beat him by a car or so

I told him a cam and LTs or a 150shot would handle it. A cam and LTs on his Z is an extra 100rwhp and should pull hard in that car.

He should do all the mods eventually, but he's looking to take out the Talon first. Nobody likes losing to a DSM.

lots of power left on the table with a factory tune...

not to mention 25-40hp and a like amount of tq from the Longtubes


a tune and headers could give him 60+hp

Spray as I stated and pray he wasn't on low boost and can turn the dial to click of a second win.

I'd go with a set of LG headers (like I'd have to tell you that Drew), bottle, and a tune. The headers and tune would add an extra 50rwhp and the bottle to finish him off in case he does turn up the boost. I just say to go for the easy stuff before he cracks open the motor.
