I have been researching which tire to go with. From what I have been reading there is a slight bias toward the QTP. I wanted to bring the discussion into this forum if it hasn't already been done.

I'm looking at the following.
  • QTP 26X9.5X15
  • ET Street 26X10.5X15

Lastly, since I am AWD it has been suggested to me that a burnout is not needed by a couple of the guys that are running 8s on the EVO. According to MT the ET Streets need little to no burnout. I'm not sure if the QTP is the same.

That seems to be the kind of response I am seeing from people that have run both.

I think Nic D is running the hoosiers too... they are a very nice tire... we will see how they do when I up the shot and get a clutch, but I cut consistent 1.60s on a stock clutch and no bottle right now.

Most of my buddy's know I cut the shittiest 60 foots. Hopefully going with these I can get it down to 1.5 or possibly lower.

I'd go with the Hoosier's as I liked the ones I had mounted up for a while. Only reason I'm not still running Hoosier's is that those things started showing cord and I got a steal on a set of M/T ET Drags.

Hoosier. They dont last as long due to the softer compound but they work alot better. I have went a 1.44 60 stock suspension Camaro.

I have ran the MT Et Streets and really liked them. Cut bottom 1.5s on them with ease. I noticed they dont need to get very hot. Id pull out of the burnout box just after I saw them start smoking. I switched over to a Hoosier slick and I needed to get those really hot in order for them to hook. I havent ran the QTPs but heard they act very similar.

With AWD, I'm sure either one would work fantasic or maybe even too good when you find the next weak link in your drivetrain.

Sorry man I was playing basketball lastnight and didn't recognize the number. I'll make sure to program it in.

Yes I'm pretty sure I will be finding out the next weekest link soon once the tires go on.

I have used both and both like them both. The only thing I can really add is the Hoosiers tend to be more consistant. They do wear faster like Steve said and you do have to get them hotter then the MT's. I don't think you will be upset with either of these tires.
